Okay, good afternoon, distinguished judges and dear teacher, it's my honor to stand here to share my lesson with you. My lesson is taken from book three, unit one--reading and thinking about why do we celebrate festivals? I'd love to share my presentation on the 6th following aspect. 

My lesson is based on the new senior high school curriculum standard, which indicates that the aim of English teaching is to cultivate student core competences, so to achieve this objective, the activity-based approach is applied to English learning, and a theory of integrative relevant and practical theme-based activities are designed. In addition, according to the integration of teaching evaluation, the learning objectives, learning process and a learning evaluation are consistent.

本课依据新课标，以培养核心素养为目标，采用英语学习活动观，设计整合性、关联性、实践性的主题探究活动，并遵循教学评一体化原则，确保目标、活动与评价三位一体。

My lesson as the second period of the student as serves as a bridge, the connect form a part and later part, and the content of this text is to discover the reasons for festivals and celebrations, which focuses on the development and significance of festivals, and the purpose of the text is not only to improve students bringing ability, but also to guide them to gain a deep understanding of the significance of festivals. 

Thus, they can form correct value and attitude toward different cultural festivals. And the text is an exposition, consisting of five paragraphs, and it can be divided into three parts: part one includes of one as an introduction, part two includes paragraph two to paragraph four as a body part, and part three includes paragraph five as a conclusion, which indicates the significance of festivals.

I'd like to analyze my students from their strengths and weaknesses. The students in the second term of senior high have acquired basic vocabulary and background information about schedules and in the view, some of them have acquired the basic reading strategy such as skimming and scanning, and they can think independently and are willing to share your ideas with others. However, they still need help in expressing their opinions in English. Moreover, they may find it hard to think deeply to figure out the profound connotations and lack the ability to making an overall analysis of the text.

Based on the analysis of teaching material and students, next is the learning objectives. By the end of the sports, students will be able to....

Next, let's come to the most important part, my teaching procedure. So based on the 5E principle--engagement, exploration, explanation, evaluation and elaboration, a series of gradual and interrelated activity are designed to achieve a comprehensive understanding.
