名词所有格与 is 的缩写（-'s）形式相同，但语法功能不同：Tim's shirt：Tim's 是所有格，作定语。Tim's here.：Tim's 是 Tim is 的缩写。The shirt's white.：shirt's 是 shirt is 的缩写。

3. 物主代词体系

形容词性物主代词：只能作定语，后面必须紧跟名词。

名词性物主代词：相当于"形容词性物主代词 + 名词"，可以独立充当句子成分，作主语、表语、宾语。

核心区别与用法：形容词性物主代词：This is my book. Is this your shirt? Her blouse is white.名词性物主代词：作表语：This book is mine. (= my book)；作主语：My car is red. Hers is blue. (= Her car)；作宾语：I borrowed his pen because I lost mine. (= my pen)

特别提醒：his 和 its 的形容词性和名词性形式相同，但用法遵循上述规则。it's 是 it is 的缩写，与物主代词 its 不同。
