学情分析

【语言能力】

初一学生能理解文章中的基础词汇和简单句型，有一些较长的句子或复杂的表达，学生需要帮助理解句子的结构和含义；部分新词需要教师讲解和扩展。

【文化意识】

“帮助他人”这一主题比较日常，但是学生可能对“捐赠头发”这一行为背后的文化意义缺乏了解，文中引用的柏拉图名言对学生来说较抽象，需要结合具体情景进行解释。

【思维品质】

初一学生具备一定的逻辑思维能力，能理解故事情节发展，经过引导也能从故事中提炼出“幸福源于行善”，知识对于周健面对他人嘲笑时的心理活动，可能需要引导才能深入分析。

【学习能力】

初一学生对故事类文本通常有较高的兴趣，也具备一定的合作学习能力，但部分学生kennel缺乏阅读长文本的耐心和勇气，需要教师逐步引导。

What

The text tells the story of Zhou Jian who grows his hair long to help kids with cancer. Despite facing comments and laughter from others, Zhou Jian fells no shame. And he believes "Happiness springs from doing good and helping others".

Why

The purpose of the text is to convey the importance of helping others and doing food deeds. Through Zhou Jian's story, it shows how small acts of kindness can have an important impacts on others and bring personal happiness.

How

The story follows a linear structure with a lot of descriptive details, which makes the story vivid and engaging. The writer also uses techniques like quotation and symbolism to reinforce the theme.

学生事先观看视频，回答问题，不做评价。

Free talk

学生观察图片，回答问题，并认识新词。

Read and answer

学生能回答故事或story。

学通过图片和标题预测语篇主旨内容，再通过浏览语篇核对答案。

教学活动

教师事先（课前或作为课后作业）给学生观看视频Kids meet kid with cancer，提问：

1.What sick has Kira got?

2.Kira lost almost all her hair because of cancer, what would you like to do to help?

将P12的图片投屏，使用问题链引导学生观察图片：

(1)Where is it? 

(2)Who is holding the scissors? 

(3)What is he doing? 

带读the barber's shop, barber, scissors，注意提醒学生使用活动1中的词汇和表达回答问题。

追问：Is the person a boy or a girl? And why?

将P13的图片投屏，使用问题链：

(1)What is picture b?

(2)Who sent the letter?

(3)Who is the letter for?

(4)What was the letter about?

将语篇投屏，教师提问：What type is the passage? What is the passage mainly about? 鼓励学生结合以上问题的答案，预测语篇内容。板书学生的不同回答，然后设置悬念：Whose guess is right? 由此引入语篇阅读。

核对答案。

学习任务 ② 读中活动（速读/训读）

学习活动

学生交流自己已知的故事元素，并通过浏览语篇回答问题。

学生找出文中表示事件和地点的内容，再画出描写环境的句子，并学习如何描写背景。

学生画出文中出现的人物。

学生独立完成鱼骨图。

学生画出文中表示感受的句子。

学生判断句子中的修辞手法，并找出文中另一处使用暗喻的地方。

学生翻译标题。

学生画出作者的观点。

教学活动

教师首先提问学生都知道哪些故事元素，并板书答案。追问：What story elements are mentioned in the passage?

教师分点讲解。

1.首先请学生找出文章中提供背景的内容。教师提供写作建议。

Writing tip 1: Write in time order to make your story more logical (有逻辑的).

Writing tip 2: Use adjective words to describe the environment to make your story more attractive (有吸引力的).

2.请学生找出文章中出现的人物。

3.呈现鱼骨图，提示学生寻找事件时要关注动词。最后提供写作建议。

Writing tip 3: Use the simple past tense to tell an event.

4.请学生找出文中表达作者感受的内容，重点讲解hope grew together with his hair，在句中grew

hair=grew hope，提问：What rhetorical devices (修辞手法) does the writer use?

教师讲解metaphor，追问：Can you find another metaphor in the passage?请学生翻译标题后，追问：What will Zhou Jian do to "grow happiness again"?

教师提供写作建议Writing tip 4: Use metaphor to show your feelings more vividly (生动地).

5.教师请学生找出作者的观点，提供写作建议Writing tip 5: Use quotes (引用名言) to express (表达) our opinions.

最后师生一起总结写作建议。

反思改进

本节课的设计区分了读写课和读思课的不同，但基于学情并没有过多设计让学生动手自己写的环节。
