学情分析

【语言能力】

学生已完成七年级上学期的学习，积累了与个人生活、情感相关的基础词汇（如happy, sad, family, friend）和简单句型。能够进行简单的日常问答和描述。

幸福”是抽象概念，学生可能缺乏足够精准、丰富的词汇和句型（如because引导的原因状语从句）来深入阐述自己的观点。

【文化意识】

学生对“幸福”有基于自身生活经验的初步理解，对于“藏头诗”这种特定的英语文学形式可能较为陌生。对智者以类比说理（通过笑话比喻烦恼）的劝导方式，其背后的幽默文化与思辨传统需要教师点拨。

【思维品质】

这个阶段的学生开始形成个人观点，并愿意在熟悉的话题上表达。对于智者“不要反复烦恼”的观点，学生可能要么全盘接受，要么全盘否定。需要引导他们有理由地质疑，并认识到有些问题确实需要时间处理，简单地“不哭”并非唯一答案，从而培养思维的深刻性和灵活性。

【学习能力】

学生习惯于课堂指令和小组活动，具备初步的合作学习意识。多数学生可能缺乏在讨论前自主规划语言（如先想理由关键词）、在讨论中主动运用支架、在讨论后反思调整的学习策略。

What

本节课包含两个多模态语篇，语篇一是一首英文藏头诗，提供了What is the poem about? What's special about the poem?两个问题为引子，激活他们对幸福的内涵的理解，并激发他们对幸福生活的向往。语篇二讲述了一位智者通过重复讲笑话来告诉人们不要总是为同一个问题烦恼，引发学生对幸福定义的思考，激发他们对话题的兴趣。

Why

语篇一以生动、易记的诗歌形式，激发学生对“幸福”这一抽象概念的具象化思考。正向词汇与意象的堆叠，能够引导学生感受幸福的美好，唤起情感共鸣。为单元主题提供情感基调，奠定积极、向往的课堂氛围。语篇二通过通俗易懂的语言故事，引发学生对幸福的讨论和思辨，倡导理性、乐观、豁达的生活心态。

How

在语篇一中，学生在阅读了藏头诗后思考主题相关问题，再通过小组活动创作属于自己的藏头诗。这既能帮助学生激活话题相关的词汇（以名词和动词短语为主），也能引导学生深度理解幸福来源于对人、物的爱（子话题1），并思考属于自己的幸福。在语篇二中，学生通过观看视频、听音频等形式深入故事，在对话和反问中强化问题：“Why do you cry over the same problem again and again?”的冲击力和启发性，感受积极心态对幸福的影响（子话题2），并理解我们如何通过帮助他人获得幸福（子话题3）。 

教学过程

学习任务 ① definition of happiness

学习活动

学生根据自己的心情自由回答，不做评价。

学生能感知到自己回答的词汇都属于情绪/emotions，并简单概括不同情绪与幸福的区别。

学生根据自己的理解描述happiness。

学生根据自己的情况说一说：I feel happiness when I... 并和老师一起总结什么时候人们会感知到幸福。

教学活动

教师提问：How are you feeling today?

教师板书学生答案，追问：What are all these words have in common? 引出emotions，并作简单的解释，如：We have many different emotions, good emotions and bad emotions. They don't last long.They are all important. 引导学生关注其中一种: happiness.

提问：What is happiness? 请学生自由回答，根据学情可以允许学生适当使用中文。

追问：When do you feel happiness? 学生全班讨论后自由发言，教师可根据学情将以下结论作为讨论后的总结或讨论前的提示：We feel happiness when we get something we want very much, when we are doing things we like, when we are with people we love... There are many ways to gain happiness.

【学习任务一】Find happiness in the poem.

【学习任务二】Work in group and write your own acrostic.

教学活动

教师过渡：For example, look at this poem. Can you find or feel happiness? 

呈现活动1的藏头诗，请学生朗读后找出体现happiness的内容。

教师用holidays和having fun做示范，请找出诗歌中体现出happiness的名词或动词（短语）。

核对答案，追问：What is special about the poem。引导学生关注是个的首字母，发现主题HAPPY。引出藏头诗，请学生小组合作，借助思维导图，试着用HAPPY即兴创作一首关于幸福的英文藏头诗。

学习任务 ③ gaining happiness through a positive attitude

学习活动

学生读图，能识别图中任务的情绪，并温习positive/negative。

学生观看视频，回答问题：They are always sad.

2. How does the wise man give his lesson to people?

A. By telling a story.

3. What does the wise man want to tell us?

B. Stop focusing on our problems and move on to find happiness.

【学习任务四】Work in pairs and discuss.

教学活动

教师将活动2的图片投屏，提问：How are they feeling? 引导学生说出Their emotions are _______ (positive / negative). 

教师引入场景，并提问：What problem do people in "The Town of Tears” face? 请学生带着问题看视频。

教师呈现问题，播放对应视频的听力，请学生完成选择。

核对答案。

教师呈现智者的话，并要求全班一起朗读，提问：Do you agree with the old man's words? Why or why not? 请学生两人一组进行对话，提示学生可以使用任务单上的句型。

邀请学生展示对话，最后用Max的话总结，强调乐观的重要性。

学习任务 ④ gaining happiness by helping others

学习活动

学生自由作答。

教学活动

教师总结并提问：People in the town learned the secrets of happiness with the help of the wise man. How may the man feel now? Is he happy? Why? 

教师总结并板书字话题: So now we know different people have different happiness. We gain happiness from people and things we love, through positive attitude, also by helping others. 

教师和学生共同梳理话题，引出本单元的学习目标。
